Koenigsegg Agera R hits 250mph at Nurburgring
The incredible Koenigsegg Agera R has hit a top speed of 249.54mph at a private event at the Nurburgring and we have it on video. Koenigsegg has endowed the 2012 Agera R with a raft of improvements to make what was already a massively impressive car even more so.
Mamoru Aoki and Koji Nagano have been promoted to Nissan executive design directors, reporting to head of design Shiro Nakamura. Mamoru Aoki is now responsible for the design and development of all Nissan brand passenger and electric vehicles as well as design strategy and is based at the carmaker's Design Center in Atsugi, Japan. Koji Nagano – previously design director at Infiniti – now manages the design development of the new Datsun brand and Nissan brand light commercial vehicles.
The Dodge Viper has received a reprieve. After nearly a year of trying to sell the iconic sports car business, Chrysler said Friday it will continue to build the Viper SRT10. Production was expected to end at the Connor Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit, known as the “Snake Pit,” in December.
